Messenger is about a food delivery man, Nick, going through the monotonous requirements of the job. Until he meets a cheerful cafe owner who believes in doing the little things that matter.

Having some time to himself at a secluded seashore, Luis re-lives moments from his day, struggling with his affair with his married supervisor at work, Rose. He comes to accept that his actions were driven by his unprocessed hurt from the breakdown of his parents’ marriage, the departure of his father and the emotional absence of his mother, and he begins the healing process towards living beyond it.
